Our head illustrator happens to be Amygdala’s elderly, vanilla mama.

Assigning these badge illustrations to her put her WAY out of her comfort zone. She learned about different fetish play that she never would have dreamed existed.

Conversations at Sunday dinners were really interesting for several weeks there, as we fleshed out our first 20 merit badges. Lots of explanations and wide-eyed stares.

But she took this concept and ran with it, and totally exceeded expectations.

Now, she says these badge illustrations are her favorite collection, and the ones she is most proud of.
